Don’t Panic over #Coronavirus

Everyone wants to be healthy. This is something none of us can deny. We all want to look and feel our best. And there’s nothing wrong with that either. But a major problem that usually arises whenever an epidemic or a pandemic comes out is panic. When people get scared, they tend to make bad decisions.

With the coronavirus that is now considered to be a pandemic, and one which is spreading worldwide, it is more important than ever that we stay calm and don’t panic. What do we have to be afraid of, especially for this of us who are believers in the Oneness of God and in the truth? Everyone is going to taste death at some point anyway.

This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take precautions such as washing our hands or stocking up on basic needs like food and fresh water. But don’t panic because panicking leads to bad decisions. If you stock up on water, for example, don’t be so fearful of possibly getting the virus that you end up grabbing the last case of bottled water when there’s an elderly person trying to get it as well.

Not only are the elderly more vulnerable to the virus, but it’s just selfish to do something like that. And when we panic, we tend to resort more easily to such irrational decisions. One key thing to remember is to just breath and put your trust in Almighty God. Nothing happens except by His Permission. If God says no, it’s not going to happen. And if God says yes, it’s going to happen and nothing can stop it from happening.

Almighty God told us in His Book, known as the Noble Qur’an, that every soul shall taste death. So if that is the case (assuming of course that we worship Almighty God without associating any partners with Him), and since it is the case, then what do we have to fear? Again, you’re going to die one day anyway.

So just don’t panic. Take your precautions and leave the rest in God’s Hands.
